The BIG WHEEL. I have had several of these big things as a kid. Big Wheels were a cool ride back in those days (the wild 1970s). I would zoom up and down my block with the local kids - yes, we were the Hell's Angels recently outta diapers. It was cool to do our spin outs - except for my landlord - unfortunaltey she worked nights and I played during the day. I am sure I kept poor Jo up many times. Another cool memory I have of my Big Wheel was the time my Mom rigged an umbrella so I could ride during the warm rain and not get too wet! I thought it was a cool idea - most kids were inside while I was cruising the block! Big Wheels were probably the big hook for me to get into cars!
